New Visayas Dive Safaris in Sipalay City and all around |
|
The first day we head southwards, diving the magic "Spiral Drop". After a light snack we continue our trip to Hinoba-an, where we do a second dive on "Cadmon Point". Lunch will be served in the well protected bay over there. In the afternoon we will leave for the day's highlight, "Basay Pier", north of Bayowan. This demolished pier appears like an ancient sunken city with all kinds of fish being the new inhabitants. Here you will have an admirable dive, followed by the sunset-view and preparations for the night. A tasty dinner with grilled fish or meat is served later on. In case, you want to perform a night-dive there, you're welcome to do so! The night you'll spend in your cabina on board. After breakfast the second day of our safari leads us back north along the coast, where an "Explorer Dive" will be done in the sanctuary of Daog. This place is always good for a nice surprise! Later on another dive is coming up at "Villamore Reef", followed by lunch on board. Continuing our excursion we will offer a third dive at "Enzian Reef", before we are going to anchor in front of Artistic Diving in the late afternoon. Now you will be taken to the white beach of Punta Ballo, where you can have a shower and relax for the rest of the day. Dinner will be served on the beach with music and candlelight and later on you will be brought back to "Jana", where you'll spend the night. The third day starts with a delicious breakfast, freshly prepared by our "Artistic Diving Kitchen". Afterwards we'll lift the anchor for Campomanes Bay, where we are going to prepare for a wreck-dive. You may either dive the MS "Jojo", a well preserved 90m freighter in 32m depth or the SS "Panay", an american WWII wreck, lying upright in 42m depth. During a break, you may take a stroll around the pier of Campomanes, before we are heading for a dive at the nearby sanctuary. We will show you "Eva's Point", a nicely encrusted vertical wall sliding down to 30m. After this interesting dive lunch is served on board. Now our route follows the coastline northward, passing a fantastic scenery with lots of mountains, similar to the "Chocolate Hills" in Bohol. Looking forward to another dive, "Sunken Island" is the ideal spot with thousands of colourful fish. Finishing this pleasant dive, we're now heading for Turtle Island. This uninhabited island has a nice sandy beach, where we'll have BBQ and enjoy the rest of the evening besides an open fire, until we finally spend the night on board. During the fourth day we'll explore dive-sites around Turtle Island, like the amazing "Cathedral Tower". Another famous spot is called "Mad Max", the old pier of Bulata. After these two dives, you'll enjoy lunch, while our captain is cruising towards Sugar Beach, another lovely beach near Sipalay City. We're having a break there for sightseeing and a delicious dessert at Takatuka-Resort. Later on our last dive of the safari is coming up: "Julian's Wreck". A scenic dive in shallow water with colourful wreck-artefacts and an abundance of corals and fish. During the last miles back home, coffee or beer is offered. Our return to Artistic Diving is estimated around 5:00 pm. |
